I joined FindSomeone in April this year, I was lucky enough to start a conversation with CamboV1, a week and a half later we met each other. In August CamboV1 made the move from Hawkes Bay to live with me in Palmerston North and 8 days later we were engaged. We are now planning our wedding in March 2010.
We are both so happy we decided to come onto FindSomeone, it was the best decision we ever made. |
I have been on Find Someone since just after Easter, after thinking about giving the site a break for a while, I came across MR_ Friendly's great profile!!
Although it is still early days(just over 2 weeks), we get on great and just have soo much in common and are very committed and always there for each other as needed. None of us have asked the other out as yet, but I think we are not far away!I would like to yet again as I have used this site before, thank Find Someone staff very much for such a great site, I have had no problems with the site, everyone I have met off the site is awesome and friendly, and most important to me honest!!
A quick note to those still looking, I came on this site to find my special someone by by getting to know members first and just being mates to start with, and happpened to find "the one" for me!I know it takes time, but god luck!

I joined FindSomeone a few years ago in the slight hope to find that special someone, as it started out one would think that you wouldn't find your true love on the internet, let me say you definately can.
I met my love one month ago, we lived in different cities and made a lot of travels to and forth, in that time we have now shifted in together and have had the great news that a little one is on the way, and a proposal is coming in the very near future also.
We would both like to this site for making this dream come true, and let others know you do find the love of your life via this site.....thanks FindSomeone. |
I justed wanted to say thanks to FindSomeone as I found my soul mate through your website. We contacted each other 15 months ago just to talk and ended up hitting it off from day 1. We moved in together from day 3 as it seemed the right thing to do. Neither of us had ever moved so fast in a relationship. I proposed 4 months later and we moved in together not much later with 6 kids in total. We just recently married and have been on a great honeymoon. We both couldn't be happier.

Hello to you all, I was a member of this site over three years ago, I met a few people and then along came a lady by the name of Katie, we met and became friends almost straight away, it has now been 3 years of love for both of us.
In March of 2007 we got engaged, and on September 6th this year will will be marrying. WOW, it's so wonderful to feel in love, you could not punch the smile off my face. We are both very happy and are looking forward to the rest of our lives together, and its all because of your site.

I met my soon to be husband on FindSomeone. We met on a sunny sunday afternoon and knew from the moment we met that this was something special.
Four weeks later he officially proposed to me at the rugby and we are to be married in Sept 09.
We are very happy together and without FindSomeone we wouldn't have been together.
So the online dating thing does work it just takes time to find the right one.

My love and I met last December, took a leap and had a nerve-wracking meeting a week after we started emailing. We are now engaged to be married.
Dante_4wd and I support and love each other, sharing our lives, talking, laughing, crying . . together we have found a happiness beyond either of our expectations.

| I met the lovely man I am about to marry through 'FindSomeone' approximately a year ago. We had both been on our own for a long number of years, and cannot believe how lucky we are to have found love, companionship and all the things that make life really marvellous. I signed in to FSO the very first time around 4 years ago. Once I eventually found the boards I struck up a conversation with a rather witty and intelligent man. We had a wonderful friendship and I was there as a shoulder for him when a relationship turned sour for him. Over the last few months we have decided that we have sooo very much in common and decided to give the relationship a go. An LDR is what we currently have as he lives in Adelaide and I in Melbourne . I spent last weekend with him and have realised that he is everything in a man I have ever wanted, plus some . I plan to move to Adelaide at the end of the year and my children are excited at the prospect. Not only does he love me but loves and plays a very big part in my children's lives too.

Well, where do I start. After going on and off your site for a number of years, i finally met someone I clicked with that actually turned out to be "the one". The funny thing is that she didn't know she was on the site at first, her sister created the profile and uploaded the pics :)
It's now 18 months since we got together, we just got married last week (Feb 08) and have a baby on the way.
Just thought I'd write to say that there are genuine people out there not all just players.

I met my fianc on here about sept last year. We started chatting and finally met up on 21st dec 06. We started dating from there on in.. About 3 weeks ago he proposed to me and we are getting married next year.

I hadn't been on FindSomeone long and had received a few smiles but one man's
profile made me think "wow, he sounds nice!" Waymac lived about 40km away but it hasn't been a problem.
I sent a smile back and we chatted online, on the phone and couldn't wait to meet. I think it was about a week later we met at Westgate and the click was almost audible. We talked for hours and found we had so much in common.
We have been together over 6 months now and got engaged a few weeks ago, looking to move in together early next year with a wedding sometime after that. I love him heaps and he feels the same way.

I joined FSO in 2005 as an older widowed woman looking for friendship - had great fun meeting new people & have a couple of really good new friends as a result . Got a Smile from a certain Windy in Auckland in April that year and thought he was joking as he was considerably younger than me.
Well after a lot of emails and visits and so on he moved south and we are now living together and loving life. Amazing !! |
I was starting to think that there was no one out there for me. Then this wonderful girl sent a smile to me and we started talking, then we met in person. On her birthday I proposed to her and she said yes :). We are due to to be married May next year and are looking forward to a long and happy life together.
